Autumn gave a slight chuckle in agreement as he said he did get hit by a bike & also the ground. She was at the very last scratch & it was on his hand when she heard someone walking around. She grabbed a bandaged & placed it on the hand, because even if it was small, it was deep & would hurt like a hot iron is something got in it. As she was about to stand she heard the feet getting closer, but what caught her off guard was when Jaide pulled her into the car, she knew quickly to protect her from the other guy, who stalked off cursing under his breath. She turned her head towards him, about to push himself up when his lips made contact with her. Her whole body tensing & then melting before he broke it and started apologizing. She tensed as she knew what had just happened & and watched as the guy had turned, seeing them kiss & grew even madder it seemed. Autumn glanced back at Jaide, who was still asking for a forgiveness. She would have normal slapped him across the face, but something stopped her from doing such a thing & she just looked at him. "That was kind of random," It was kind of a funny thing, but some thing needed fun & not other comments,"Do you not think I could of fought him? You barely know my skills besides that on a board." She was not even thinking about the fact that she was in his lap, her bare feet hanging out the door & her arms keeping her up so she could look him in the eye. Normal by now she would have move, but she was being calm, her voice not even rising, & her body not tensing at all anymore. "Who was that?"

He gained his composure and said, "I didn't doubt you, It was just first reaction is all." He rubbed the back of his neck, smiling sheepishly. He then said, "I'll try to make less of a first instinct if it ever happens again, heh." He was speaking the whole truth to her, this was easy to tell. He was a great guy and all, its just that it was easy to embarras him or make him go into a stuttering stupor, like the kiss from earlier and the fact she was in his lap contributed to his slight unease. The fact she didnt slap him threw him off too, but hey, thats Jaide for you.
He then said, "Er, sorry for pulling you out of the way, Just wanted to feel like a hero for once, heh." He smiled at her softly and awaited her response to all this. He was trying to avoid getting slapped for one, and two, he was trying to avoid ruining his chance for love with Autumn, as hard as it would be for the both of them, for sure. He then looked into her eyes, his green one meeting her eyes.

"Well, your instinct made a impression," She swallowed and gave a sheepish smile herself, glancing away and nodding her head once before she looked back at him. She felt her cheeks warm slightly and watched him, her blue eyes traveling over the sight. One, she was a new girl, from Hawaii, and these two were the first two she had met. Two, she was in the lap of a stranger. Three, he had just kissed her and she had yet to slap him. Four, He waned to be a hero. She actually saw some reason in the four, but did he have to be completely like a hero, he could of just pulled her into the car and waited until the guy went by, but as he said, it was all instincts. "Some heroes need to be careful," She said, again joking and still wondering why she had yet to go completely crazy. Was it the shock of the whole thing or just because he looked like someone she would love to get to know better. As she turned her head to look at him, his green eyes looked into her own blue eyes, making her blush even more, but she could not turn her head away.

Stephany had watched them go back to the shore and smirked at the sight of her brother already hitting on her. It was obvious that he was thinking of more than only a friendship but she also knew him well enough to know that if it wouldn't go further than a friendship, he'd still be grateful for it. Sighing softly at the thought that Jaide wasn't a kid anymore and he seemed to be growing so fast, especially in the past few years, she turned her attention back to the ocean presenting itself to her and now grasping her full attention. She was now the only surfer in the water and she'd definitely take the most of it.
The sun was rising up higher in the sky by the minute and Stephany have had time to catch a couple of more waves. She was still tired from her previous night - a short one - and her surfing as of now was satisfying enough for her to go back to the reef wihtout any remorse of letting such a beautiful day go by without anymore rides. Besides, rare were the rainy days in the area and she would most likely be back at the exact same spot the next day.
As she reached the beach, she grabbed her board under her arm and went for the bag she had left in the sand. She gathered her things and untied her wet hair, letting it fall over her shoulders, curling up naturally. She didn't even bother drying up at all, the sun would do the trick. As she walked back to her car, she noticed both Autumn and Jaide's car still in the parking lot and she frowned slightly. As she got closer, she could see two pair of legs coming out of Jaide's front seat and she couldn't repress a chuckle. Seeing her lifetime opportunity, she made her way over to them as silently as possible.
"Am I interrupting something?" she asked as she reached their side, surfboard still under her arm, seeing them one on top of the other. Of course she was interrupting something, and that was exactly her point. She had expected them to be making out more than just chatting, which was what they apparently were doing, but the situation couldn't help but get her highly amused anyway.

Jaide took FIVE seconds to realize his sister was there, and in a moment of taking 5 more seconds, he began to blink. Then a blush came to his cheeks, followed by the stuttering voice, "N-No you're not." He looked at his sister then quickly at Autumn. He then looked down, trying to keep his mouth shut just incase. He was trying to escape further embarrasment, but sadly, the girl he wanted to have as his girlfriend and his sister were right by him.
What more could the young brother ask for? Well, that depends, because If Stephanie or Autumn inspected the other part of the inside of the car, there were flowers, choclates, poems, and it appeared all this was new and fresh. He cleared his throat, but remained silent, still not wanting to further the embarrasment. His green eyes scanning the scar silently, as if trying to find something to put the subject newly on. He knew he could always say that he was going to take Autumn to his and Stephanie's home to show her around, but that might not be a good idea.

Autumn also heard someone coming & looked just in time to see Stephany standing beside the car & looking at them. Her whole body tensed & she was out of the car in less then two small seconds. She was standing, blushing & trying to figure out what had just occurred. She rubbed her nose, which held dark red nose ring that was small but cute on her face & she rubbed her hand over her right arm, where she felt the old scare from the knife blade from long ago. She was surprised no one had said anything about her tattoo & her scars, most people normal did. It was a weird tattoo & a even weirder scar that most people were curious about. "No, you were not interrupting anything," She looked at Stephany & then back at Jaide, smiling & blushing hot red. She tried to find anything to focus on, but nothing but Jaide came to her mind. She was not sure if Stephany had seen the guy from before, but she was sure she had not, which would cause them even more embarrassment. She took in a breath & swallowed, hoping Stephany would just leave so they could get to know each other, but that did not seem possible at the moment.

In a quite interresting way, the speed at which Autumn stood back up from her brother and Jaide's reaction seemed to be on a completely different time frame, one being as fast as it could be and the other so long that Stephany even wondered if she'd get an eventual answer. Raising an eyebrow at Jaide as he finally spoke in a stutter, she gave a slow, unconvinced nod and then glanced at the blond girl, giving her a warm smile.
By the scarlet color on both their face, it was obvious they were highly embarrassed, but she hadn't need to look at them to know that in the first place. The situation couldn't have done otherwise. Without even bothering holding back her amused smile, she looked back at her brother. "I'm going back home." She paused, looking once more at Autumn. "You're welcomed to swing by anytime. The house is parents' free 24/7," she added with a crocked smirk, probably adding to their embarrassment as well as she made an obvious reference to them being able to get intimate without anyone bothering them. Except her, of course.
She started walking towards her own car and shot a "'Later" for them both. Before she was out of sight, however, she spun around to look at Jaide and while the girl was looking away, she mouthed Use a condom for his sake, adding a broad teasing grin and spinning back around, taking out her car keys and unlocking her blue metallic Pontiac Vibe at distance.

Jaide looked at his Sister and nodded, still blushing. He looked at Autumn and said, "Er...Well, since my sister will be at the home currently, We can go elsewhere to get to know each other, or just sit around here." He looked at her, smiling softly. He shifted in his seat to face her, now that his sister was gone. He was trying to ignore what she had mouthed to him. He knew that Autumn was the one he'd cherish forever, he said this over and over in his head, encouraging himself to keep at it.
He then rubbed the back of his neck and said, "I guess you can ask me questions first, if we stay here and talk." He chuckled, but smiled nevertheless. He put his hands on his knees and said, "Of course there is also a few better private places I know of, heh." He looked her right in the eyes as he awaited her response like a paitent guy would. He also began to ponder on how to further woo her, as it seemed his past times seemed to be working for him, which was good.

She was scratching the back of her hand, watching Shephany move away, bot not seeing her mouth what she did to Jaide. She leaned against a car next to his car & then looked at him as he spoke, only shrugging & kneeling down a bit, to relax her knees. She was not sure if she wanted to talk, the embarrassment of what had just happened had set in & she was not sure what she wanted to do. She could always go home & get working on the files her dad had set out for her to look over, but she was lucky the courts days were tomorrow, because that was when she would have to start working on them. "We can stay here or we can go somewhere, I do not mind," She only glanced up at him, to scared to look him in face, for fear she might blush hot red & show she was embarrassed. Upon hearing what he said next, she again shrugged, she did not know what to ask & though he might already have a idea of what to ask. "You can ask my questions, I don't know what to ask," Her voice was kind of small now, as she was trying to figure out if she should stay or go, but something was holding her in place.

Jaide nodded and pondered. He sat there pondering what to ask. He then said, "Where do you come from and how long did you live there before moving here?" His questions were a good start, he knew this. He had more but wanted to take this slow, of course. He sat there, looking at her curiously. He wanted to know so much about her, to be able to see where she stood on certain subjects, but that might take hours, which he'd gladly spend with her. He was this much of a interested in her, he knew this.
He smiled at her, paitent as ever. He fiddled with his thumbs, a bit anxious to learn all he could. He wanted to be her boyfriend, so much, he knew they deserved eachother, he kept playing it in his head over and over. He would only give up when she totally rejected him, whenever that would be. He did not fear rejection however, he had it happen too many times and was used to it. His green eyes stared at her, as he began to plan out the questions he was going to ask.

She glanced at him, smiled a little, & stood completely from her position of leaning on the car. She looked over the ocean, wishing she could see the Islands in which she had lived on for most of her life, except for one year, in which she leaved in Colorado. She then turned back to face Jaide, her blond hair draped down her back, still streaming some beads of water down her back slowly, but she did not notice them anymore. "I moved here from Hawaii, where I lived for years, but I lived in Colorado from the time I was born till I was one year old," She loved speaking of Hawaii & of where she was from. She also loved to speak of her family, a family unlike any other family. Her family was crazy, but they made the world safe along with others like themselves. She leaned a bit back on the car, wanting to go walking, but not wanting to at the same time. In honesty, she did not know what she wanted, she just knew she had to do something, but what. She felt the morning sun hot on her side now, but it was still not hot enough to either go back to the water or head inside, but she knew that the morning sun could mean torture on one's skin.

Jaide listened and nodded. He pondered his next questions to ask. He then asked, "Hm...How long have you been surfing, and How much do like California so far?" He smiled brightly at her, still curious. He raised a arm to block the sunlight from his eyes. He knew they could always go under some shade, but that was all up to her. He awaited Autumn's answers, while scooting back in the chair so his car would block the sun, so he could keep his eyes open all the way. His green eyes were still on Autumn and his mind was still racing.

She thought about it for a moment & then looked at the sun as it came over the horizon. She wanted to shade, she needed it, the sun was messing up her vision of the guy before her now, the guy she was already feeling butterflies about, but she was scared to get attached to him. She heard his question, thinking of a good answer, but preferring to try & think of her own questions. "I have been surfing since I could walk, my dad is a big surfer, along with a big bounty hunter," Both the truth, but she was planning on being just like him in both,"And so far I am like California, not Hawaii, but it will do." That was the complete truth. She was enjoying her new home, but she missed Hawaii. She knew they were alike, but unlike Hawaii, California was always crowded on the beach. People where everywhere, when in Hawaii, you could find some private spots on the beach for a special moment. "How crowded do the beaches get?"

Jaide listened to her, nodding. He spoke, "Yeah, California has its perks." He chuckled and rubbed his chin, thinking to Autumn's question. He then shrugged and spoke, "Hell if I know, varies on days, usually gets whacky on the weekends and holidays." He smiled at her and said, "Me and my sis usually get here when theres not many people around, its sort of a safety precaution...for me." He then looked to the beach, remembering the fight he had. It was a nasty fight, indeed it was. He and some egotistical bastard had gotten in a fight because a bunch of teens were taunting him about his past. That wasn't smart to do, for sure.
The fight whiplashed on both of them, as two good fighters wrestled and more. Jaide won out, as his sister arrived to see him pass out. He was taken to the hospital because of the wounds he suffered, but it was quick to be tended to. He had stayed away from the beach for a few weeks, before he came back and ignored any taunts on him.

She listened to him and nodded. Everywhere had there perks to a certain place, but still, she wished she was back in her Hawaii. She already missed the place like it was a pain and she wanted to go back soon for a visit. She looked out at the ocean and then looked back over at him, she could see he was thinking of something, but she was not sure what. "Sounds like Hawaii in some form or fashion, of course, Hawaiians know how to party without starting a fight or getting drunk like some people do... Those are the parties and stuff we have," She said looking at the ocean, watching the waves with ease as they rolled and caught off at beach on a higher part of a sand shelf. She looked at everything and how in Hawaii, the waves could get 40 feet if not more high. Everything on the Islands were so perfect.
